Makes about 3 cups.
2 cups (i.e., one bag) chocolate chips: milk, semi-sweet, or dark
1 ½ cups heavy cream
Place the chips in a heatproof bowl.
Heat the cream to just under a boil. In my microwave, this took 2 ½ minutes. Watch it—you don’t want it to boil over.
Pour hot cream over chips. Wait 30 seconds. Stir until smooth.
